At first my son was having a hard time getting the toy to sink in the water. They we read the directions and found out you have to fill the ball with water. My son said it worked best when the ball was mostly filled with water but not all the way.

My son jumps off the diving board with this and bounces off of the drain at the bottom of the pool. He spends a lot of time with this pool toy.
