The Mosquito Barrier Insect Repellent is a natural and powerful way to keep insects off of garden plants, flowers and grass without harmful fumes or chemicals. When properly mixed with water, the Mosquito Barrier Insect Repellent will cover approximately 1.25 acres (which is enough for a couple of applications on smaller residential properties). It imparts no garlic taste on any backyard crops or plants that are sprayed. The odor of garlic, in the air or on the plant, disappears within minutes.
The Mosquito Barrier protects your yard 3 ways:
- It kills the adult mosquitoes
- The garlic coated plants keep mosquitoes out of the area
- It suffocates any mosquito larvae in standing water, such as puddles, under decks, water in tin cans or depressions in lawn, etc.
It's great for home garden and lawn care use and completely safe around people, pets, animals and fish. To mix, use 4 ounces of Mosquito Barrier into 1 gallon of water. Stir well and spray about an hour before sundown. Generally, 4 applications are enough for the entire mosquito season.
Also available in gallon size that covers approximately 5 acres (gallon sizes are best for homes on a half acre and will last for the entire season).

I was so disappointed in this product. I used twice the amount since I live in the mountains close to the ocean. It lasted about two hours and now the mosquitoes are back. One late evening watering session I was bitten so many times I thought I may end up in the hospital.
As one last ditch effort before I use a real poison! I ordered and applied Mosquito Barrier. Wow! No more mosquitoes!
Mix as directed. Apply around your home first to all foliage (under side) and still areas. Moving out to the yard spray the foliage (under side), tree limbs, tree trunks, and flower beds. Work outward to your property line or zone you wish to protect. At your perimeter spray directly on the grass. This will push mosquitoes out of the zone and keep them out.
If you don’t like garlic I suggest you spray wearing a charcoal filtered respirator. The sulfide smell is STRONG. While NOT harmful, I got a pungent nose full and a little eye watering. This garlic is not really objectionable to me, it’s just strong. In fact it was kind’ a nice and actually made me a little hungry? The smell does disappear in 30 Min. to an hour.

This really does work! I used it first before an outdoor barbeque and sprayed twice because of the amount of mosquitoes. It worked great! We had a lot of rain after that, so it was difficult to see how it lasted. Used it again about a week ago. Starting to get mosquitoes again. But the product is easy to use and the concentrate lasts quite a while. Others have commented that they notice the smell - when I mix it and first spray it, sure. Didn't have an effect the mosquito population what so ever. Just made my whole yard smell like old Italian food. My guests were not pleased with having to smell it all weekend. Nor I, having to continue to smell garlic for weeks on end. I will stick with the industrial yard spray. (Posted on 7/15/2013)Quality Price
