This is perfect for taking down the river. The tube never got a hole in it after using it 3 times. It is comfortable and stores easy so you will never have to rent tubes.

Taking this on the river, I didn't have much faith in its ability to hold up to a real beating. The thickness of the vinyl plastic doesn't seem much more than any typical pool toy, but it did take four hours on the river running rapids and hitting rocks like a trouper. The two chambers are reassurance that it won't go completely flat even if it does get a hole somehow. The only complaint is the inner seam is big enough to be irritating. If the tube is covered with a towel or sheet it's not that bad, but it could have been smoother.

Bought it, took it out of the box, tried to inflate it. Huge hole in the seam. Waste of money & time!
